Chinese-made portable ultrasound machines that were being illegally used for sex determination tests in Haryana have been seized here and one person arrested, police said Saturday.
"China has introduced portable ultrasound machines which are being used illegally for sex determination in Haryana," Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal told IANS.
"This is the first such case in India. The Indian accused will be produced in court Saturday while police are chasing his Chinese colleague, who would be arrested soon," he said.
