Actress Abbie Cornish says she was attracted to "RoboCop" because it reminded her of her childhood.
The 31-year-old was a big fan of the 1987 original movie, which featured Peter Weller in the lead role, so she jumped at the chance to work with director Jose Padilha and actors Gary Oldman and Joel Kinnaman, reports contactmusic.com.
"I was attracted to the film because it was part of my childhood, also I wanted to work with Jose and Gary Oldman," Cornish told BANG Showbiz.
"It was a role I took because of the director and the actors, I didn't read a script when I took this role on I just took it because I had a good feeling about it," she added.
