Ronaldinho is close to signing a deal with US Major League Soccer outfit Los Angeles Galaxy, a media report said.
The former club of David Beckham wants Ronaldinho to fill the void left by the retiring Landon Donovan, Xinhua quoted Terra news portal as saying.
The Brazilian's salary would not be included in the club's salary cap.
The reports come just two months after the 34-year-old signed a two-year deal with Mexican outfit Queretaro.
His move would coincide with FIFA World Player of the Year winner Kaka's arrival in the US. Kaka has signed with Orlando City.
