At least seven members, including four children, of a family were killed and another injured in a road mishap in Tripura, police said Thursday.
"Seven people, including four children, died on the spot when their speeding car collided with a road side tree at Nalgaria (in Western Tripura) late Wednesday night," police spokesman Uttam Bhowmik told IANS.
The deceased, all belonging to the same family, included a girl and two women. Another youth who was injured critically in the accident is battling for life at the government- run Gobind Ballav Pant Medical College and Hospital.
