Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif on Tuesday discussed India's alleged involvement in funding terrorism in the country, a report said.

The two discussed disclosures made in a BBC documentary alleging that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) got Indian funding to carry out subversive activities, the Dawn said.

The accusations come at a time when the MQM, a dominant force in Karachi, faces an investigation into charges of money laundering.

A team of investigators from Scotland Yard arrived in Islamabad on Monday to question a suspect arrested in connection with a case in April.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Monday rejected claims of any involvement with the Indian intelligence agency the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

But MQM leader Tariq Mir told police in London earlier that Hussian knew about Indian funding of MQM's activities.
