Los Angeles, April 25 (IANS) Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf is said to be in talks to star alongside Brad Pitt in director David Ayer's "Fury".

The "Transformers" actor is negotiating with Sony Pictures to star in the military action thriller, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The film centres on a Sherman tank commander and his crew who find themselves behind enemy lines in Nazi Germany in April 1945 just as the war is coming to an end.

LaBeouf would play one of the crew members, while Pitt has already been signed on to star as the commander.

Ayer has previously directed movies like "End of Watch", starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
