Filmmaker Vetrimaaran has confirmed that actor Silambarasan aka Simbu will be in a cameo in his upcoming Tamil production venture "Kakka Muttai".
Vetrimaaran is co-producing the movie with actor Dhanush.
"Yes, we have roped in Simbu for a cameo. It's a special role and I don't want to reveal more about it. Ours is a children's film and his presence is likely going to elevate the fun element," Vetrimaaran told IANS.
"Kakka Muttai", set to go on floors soon, will be directed by Manikandan.
The film's story will be set against the backdrop of a slum lifestyle. A bunch of kids has been cast to play important roles in the movie.
Meanwhile, Simbu is busy shooting for Tamil films "Vaalu" and "Vettai Mannan".
