Tata Sons has cancelled the orientation programme for new directors that the group's now ousted Chairman Cyrus Mistry had planned.
According to sources, Tata Sons cancelled the orientation programme for three new directors -- Ajay Piramal, Amit Chandra, and Venu Srinivasan who were inducted in August.
"Cyrus Mistry planned two six-hour orientation sessions scheduled for 2nd and 15th November, which were the first available dates on all calendars," a source said.
Sources said that extensive content was planned over the two days via presentations from group CEOs, group centre executives, and Mistry.
