Three people have been arrested and several fake passports seized from them on Thursday from the satellite township of Bidhannagar, police said.
"Several of the passports seized bear addresses of Pathankot and Jalandhar. We are ascertaining if the accused have any links with any terrorists group," said an officer of the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.
Busting a fake passport racket operating in the area, police so far have arrested seven people.
