Trinamool Congress MP Renuka Sinha's gold chain was snatched outside the Banga Bhavan in Delhi Sunday night, party spokesperson Derek O'Brien said.
"Trinamool MP's gold chain snatched off her neck by thieves moving on mobikes," Rajya Sabha member and the party's national spokesperson O'Brien said in a tweet.
The incident took place just outside the Banga Bhavan on Hailey Road in the Barakhamba Road area.
Sinha, an MP from Cooch Behar constituency of West Bengal, was safe, said O'Brien.

Police said that she has received some bruises on her neck.
Sinha was in the national capital to attend a party meet, which concluded at 10 p.m.
She was accompanied by her security guard when the incident took place.
A police mobile van was posted outside the Banga Bhavan following the incident.
