Two Indian nationals, Maulana Ramzan and Subhash Jangir who allegedly worked for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), were on Thursday sent to 12-day police remand by the Patiala House Court here.

They were arrested on Wednesday at around 10:40 a.m. by the Inter-state Cell of the Crime Branch during a raid near the Delhi zoo.

The Crime Branch officials believe that they had come to hand over some secret information to Mehmood Akhtar, an embassy official, about the deployment of security forces at Indian borders.

They were working as spies for Akhtar, the 'kingpin' of the racket working for the ISI, the officials said.

Both Maulana Ramzan and Subhash Jangir hail from Rajasthan.
