English Premier League side Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger Sunday said he is confident that injured midfielder Jack Wilshere will recover in time to help England at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
"I spoke to (England manager) Roy Hodgson and I told him that Wilshere will be available for England," Wenger said, reports Xinhua.
"He will be just polished for England."
Wilshere broke his foot during England's 1-0 win over Denmark in a friendly March 5 and has been out of action since then.
Arsenal hope that the 22-year-old will return in time for the FA Cup final against Hull City May 17.
"He is starting to jog this week. I would think two to three weeks," Wenger added.
"Jack can be the positive surprise (for England)."
