Woman hotelier shot dead in Dimapur

Unidentified gunmen on Monday evening shot dead a woman hotelier in Nagaland's commercial hub Dimapur, police said.

Rittika Mehta, the owner of Apna Hotel, had survived a similar attack on her life a few months back, police said.

Investigation was on to trace the killers.

"Unidentified gunmen shot three bullets at Mehta from a close range inside the hotel. After shooting her, they fled the spot," a police official said.

She was rushed to a hospital, but died on the way.
