A pinch of Swades

An insurance company learnt not to "underestimate the power of the common man" the hard way. When some company officials visited tribal parts of Andhra Pradesh recently to educate locals about the importance of insurance products and were waiting before a gathering for its technology department staff to set up the IT infrastructure, the locals took the lead and set up the presentation on a laptop. The insurance company officials were not only amazed, they were visibly embarrassed, with some officials remembering this popular dialogue ("Don't underestimate the power of a common man") from Shah Rukh Khan's 2013 blockbuster, 'Chennai Express'.
