A special day-long session was called today to debate drought in state and pass the second suplimentary budget.
Main opposition Congress today created din in assembly when chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan rise to pay homage to former Indian president A P J Abdul Kalam. Congress members also raised point of order on duration of intimation of the session.

State Assembly today also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he was figured among "most powerful persons" in the world by Forbes Magazine.
Though he was ranked "ninth", the BJP's national general secretary and legislature Kailash Vijaywargiya mentioned the "achievement" during the day-long special session of the assembly.
He said the prestigious Forbes magazine had mentioned Prime Minister's name as the ninth most powerful person in the world which was a matter of pride for over one billion Indians.
He said Modi this had enhanced country's image on global map.
Vijayavergiya also mentioned that earlier World Economic Forum had described him as tenth most powerful leader in the century.
Speaker Sitasharan Sharma also seconded the MLA and said the House congratulates the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as it had raised the pride of the House as well as of the nation.
Main opposition Congress member Bala Bachchan contested the speaker's and demanded under which rule Vijayvergiya mentioned it in House. To which speaker said it was a tradition.
On earlier occasions too the assembly had congratulated people for their achievements.
The Forbes magazine has placed Russian president Vladimir Putin on top in the list.
