1 killed, 4 missing as two boats sink in China

Two boats have foundered on a river in northeast China with one person drowning and four others missing in the incident, local authorities said today.
Seven people, all relatives and residents of Xinhe Village in the city of Nehe were transporting goats across the Nenjiang River in Heilongjiang Province yesterday when the accidents happened, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Two villagers were rescued after the accident, and rescuers were still searching for the missing.
