10 pc DA to be given from Dec 2014: Punjab govt

Punjab government today said it would give 10 per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) to government employees and pensioners from December this year, an official said.
The decision about arrears of dearness relief for the period January 1, 2014 to November 30, 2014 would be taken in due course, he said.
The pending arrears of 10 per cent DA from July 2013 would be paid in cash after August 15 this year by crediting the same in the respective bank accounts of beneficiaries, the official said.
