12-year-old boy commits suicide

A 12-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a canal here, police said today.
The incident took place earlier this week following which a case was registered against a man for abetment of suicide, they said.
The case was registered against him yesterday on the basis of a statement by the boy's father, a police spokesperson said.
Vaheed Khan, a resident of Shahpur Kalan lodged a complaint alleging that his son Maneesh was troubled by one Devendra, which led him to commit suicide, he said, adding further investigations are on in the case, police said.
