Avantika was hit by the car, being driven by Mobin, when she was playing in the parking lot of a house in Ashok Vihar phase-V where her grandfather was ironing clothes on September 15, said a senior police officer.
Mobin, while reversing the vehicle, didn't realise that Avantika was behind and she was hit, said the officer.
Her grandfather took her to a nearby hospital where the doctors could not treat her due to lack of necessary facilities.
She was later rushed to the Babu Jagjivan Ram hospital in Jahangirpuri where she succumbed, police said.
