The two militants on a motorcycle were apprehended by the army as they attempted to flee on seeing the troops at Ujirgaon under Dimakuchi police station last night, defence sources said today.
Two 9-mm pistols, seven rounds of live cartridge, two magazines and a mobile phone handset were recovered from the two identified as Duithun Boro and Lumshrau Daimary.
The two were handed over to Dimakuchi police station today for further action, they added.
