20,113 entries for CBSE's creative expression series

The first CBSE expression series to promote creative expression and writing skills of students attracted 20,113 entries from across the country.
Students from 32 states and Union Territories wrote their essays/poems in various scheduled languages, like Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam, Odia, Telugu and English, said CBSE in a statement today.
The series was held on July 10 and 11. The participants were given ample time to research and put forth their creativity as essay or poem in any of the 22 scheduled languages and English, it said.
