Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said that two hundred and fourty one projects have been accorded green clearance during the tenure of present government.
"Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has accorded environment clearance to 241 projects during the tenure of the present government," Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.
While environment clearances have been accorded to 35 projects in Andhra Pradesh, 22 projects in Maharashtra got the green nod, according to state-wise details of project accorded envrionmental clearance during May to November.
No approval has been granted to projects from states like Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, reveals the data presented by the government in the House.
