"Six labourers were buried in a huge mudslide when they were working at the under-construction site of the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana," fire officials said.
The scheme envisages building of tenements for people belonging to low income group.
"Three of them (six persons) were rescued alive while three bodies were retrieved from the site," they added.
The deceased have been identified as Baldev Shivnarayan, Jalian Shivbalan and Harishankar Ramarao.
