Additional District and Sessions judge Narender Sharma also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the accused for the murder in Mandi Adampur in this district on June 29, 2011.
In case of default on payment of fine, they have to undergo imprisonment for additional three months.
According to the prosecution, three persons -- Pawan Grover, Sunil Grover and Vijay Sharma -- all residents of Adampur, were convicted of murder of Monu Soni of the same area.
When Monu Soni was going to the market on June 29, 2011, Pawan fired several rounds on him, killing him on the spot. Sunil and Vijay were also with Pawan when the crime was committed.
The deceased Monu Soni and Pawan Grover were jointly doing cable business in Adampur and there was some dispute between them over money which led to the crime.
