"Today we received 22 test reports, out of which nine tested positive. Out of nine, four tested positive for H1N1 which is swine flu virus whereas five others were tested positive for H3N2 which is a virus of common cold," Director Health Service, Dr Baljeet Pathania, told PTI.
He said that the total number of patients tested positive with the swine flu virus in Jammu has reached to 22.
"So far 22 people have been tested positive for the swine flu virus in Jammu region," he said.
The test results of two patients who were admitted as suspected swine flu cases and had died turned out to be negative for swine flu.
"The test reports of two patients, one senior doctor Bhupinder Singh who died in a hospital in New Delhi where he was air lifted from Jammu and one Raj Kumar who died in GMC Jammu turned out to be negative for swine flu virus," a health official said.
