45-yr-old constable electrocuted

A 45-year-old police constable was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live wire at Auraiye Police Station here.
Devi Prasad Misra was electrocuted when he came in contact with a wire after he touched a table fan in a barrack of the police station last night, Station Officer Surendra Kumar Pandey said.
He was rushed to a hospital by his colleagues, Pandey said, adding, he was later referred to Varanasi where he died this morning.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem examination.
