Last night a joint raid was conducted by district administration and Food safety and Drug Administration (FDA) officials at the 'Astha' brand factory owned by Ajit Ahuja after tip-off in this regard was received, SDM Amit Singh said.
During preliminary investigations, ghee samples were found to be adulterated. The factory owner also did not posses any licence, Singh said.
Over 400 packets of 1 litre and 500ml ghee and 10 tins of 15 litres each of refined soybean oil along with other raw materials and machines were seized, the official said.
