50-yr-old woman killed as 5 intruders open fire

Five men today barged into a house in a village here and fired indiscriminately at the occupants, killing a 50-year-old woman and injuring another.
The intruders were apparently looking for one Zaved, 28, who was allegedly in a live-in relationship with a girl from the same village for past five years to which her family was opposed to, SHO Niwari Nazir Khan said.
On not finding Zaved, the five men forcibly entered into the house and started firing indiscriminately at the those present in the house.
Zaved's mother, Mehron (50), and his maternal cousin Imamuddin alias Salman sustained bullet injuries, Khan said.

The neighbours informed the police, who rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.
While Mehron succumbed to injuries, Salman is undergoing treatment, the SHO said.
Based on the complaint lodged by Zaved, an FIR was registered against Mumtaz, Imtiaz, Sonu, Shamshad and Nuashad under relevant sections of the IPC.
