7 houses gutted in fire in Kashmir

At least seven houses were gutted in a fire that broke out today in Noorbagh area here but there no report of any causality, a fire official said.
The fire broke out in a house at Shaheen Mohalla locality in the city around 2 pm and within no time engulfed nearby houses, a Fire and Emergency Services official told PTI.
Ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused after several hours, he said.
The official said while five residential houses were severely damaged by the blaze, two suffered minor damages and the cause of the fire is not yet ascertained.

There was no casualty, he said.
