7 killed, 10 hurt in accident
The pick-up van, carrying several passengers, was on its way to this district headquarter town when the accident occurred at about 11 pm on Balurghat-Malda state highway, near a BSF camp.
Seven persons died on the spot while the injured were admitted to Balurghat General Hospital, where their condition was stated to be serious, police said.
