AAP demands Sukhbir's resignation over law & order situation

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab today demanded resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal over "deteriorating" law and order situation in the state.
Amidst the protest over alleged incidents of sacrilege in the state, AAP Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur held Sukhbir responsible for deteriorating law and order situation.
Besides, he demanded probe by a Supreme Court-monitored SIT into the incident of alleged sacrilege and police firing in which two persons were killed at Bargari village in Faridkot district recently.
He also demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore each to the next of kin of the two victims.
He said those responsible for the incidents of sacrilege must be arrested at the earliest.
