As varsity chancellor, Solanki conferred Honoris Causa Doctorate degrees to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and director Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas Saroj Bala.
He conferred Ph.D to 105, post graduate degree to 507 and graduate degree to 338 students. Besides, 103 toppers were given gold medals.
"Ability to read and write and get degrees is not the only aim of education. The transformation of society with your participation is more important," he added.
