"Aishwarya's father Krishnaraj Rai has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra," Aishwarya's publicist told PTI.
The publicist, however, did not share any further details.
Last night, Aishwarya and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan visited him in the hospital.
Meanwhile, on the work front, speculations are rife that the couple will reportedly be seen together after a gap of seven years in a film titled "Gulab Jamun", to be backed by Phantom Films.
