Narasimhan, who is the common Governor for the two states post-bifurcation, would attend a meeting tomorrow morning, official sources said.
TDP, which rules in Andhra Pradesh, and TRS, the ruling party of Telangana, are engaged in a bitter war of words on alleged phone tapping, cash-for-vote case and the demand of invocation of section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
The section 8 empowers Governor to assume law and order powers in the common capital of Hyderabad.
The reports came in the wake of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's petition to the Prime Minister, seeking a direction to Governor to use powers under section 8.
Telangana CM, K Chandrasekhar Rao, has maintained that law and order is a state subject and Hyderabad is integral part of Telangana.
