The run was organised by Andhra Pradesh Journalists Forum to create awareness about construction of new capital Amaravathi.
Naidu appealed to people across the state to participate in the construction of capital which would be transformed into a 'Prajarajadhani' (people's capital).
He said that the new capital would be pride of Andhra Pradesh and its people.
Naidu also appealed from other towns and cities to organise such runs in their areas.
A number of youth, journalists participated in the run which went upto Mangalagiri in Guntur district.
