Arms cache seized from militant hideout in Poonch

Security forces today busted a militant hideout and seized a large cache of arms and ammunition in the border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
Acting on a specific information, a joint team of 39 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Police launched a search operation in the Khanetar area of the Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district and busted a militant hideout, a Defence spokesman said.
The seized cache of arms and ammunition from the hideout include one pistol with a magazine and 61 round, one AK magazine, 105 AK rounds, one radio set, four Chinese grenades, one radio set, one Pathani suit and one blanket, he said.
