"As part of the ongoing process of strengthening the social fibre and bringing back ex-servicemen in joining the mainstream, Red Shield Division has approached the Manipur government in setting up self-employment and job opportunity stalls during the conduct of the ex-servicemen rally planned at Leimakhong in October this year," Lt Col Ajay Kumar Sharma said.
He said apart from various welfare related activities for the ex-servicemen, stalls sponsored by horticulture, agriculture, fisheries, poultry, small scale industries, animal husbandry and district sports authorities will be set up to spread awareness about self-employment schemes.
