Bad condition of buses in Amethi trouble commuters

Residents of the high-profile Amethi Lok Sabha constituency represented by Rahul Gandhi are unhappy with the condition of the buses running here under Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
"The Amethi bus depot is being forced to run such buses which must be auctioned without any delay," said a resident who travels to nearby Sultanpur for work everyday.
"Most of the rejected buses of some depots, including Gonda, have been pushed into service here," another commuter said, adding that daily passengers to Sultanpur had to face great hardships.
As per official records, Amethi depot has 43 buses, of which only two are new.

When contacted Amethi depot official BN Ram said very soon the some new vehicles are likely to come.
