Bharat Sevashram Sangha president passes away

Swami Tridabananda, a direct disciple of Sangh's founder Swami Pranabananda, took sannyas in 1940 and was involved with the Sangh's activities for 80 long years.

A veteran freedom fighter, Swami Tridibananda was closely associated with former state chief minister Ajay Mukherjee during the freedom movement in Midnapore.

A funeral procession carrying his body will be taken out tomorrow from the Sangha headquarters which will terminate at Keoratala crematorium, Swami Biswaatmananda said.
