Bihar Assembly pays tribute to ex-CM Ramsunder Das, others

The Bihar Legislative Assembly today paid tributes to former chief minister Ram Sunder Das and other departed representatives of the state legislature.
As soon as the trust vote got over on the inaugural sitting of the budget session, Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary took up the condolence motion and made a brief obituary reference to 15 representatives of the state legislature who had passed away in recent months.
The members stood for one minute of silence in memory of the departed lawmakers.
The Speaker later adjourned the House till tomorrow.
