Gupta, the Leader of Opposition in the House and fellow BJP legislator Jagdish Pradhan walked out of the Assembly even before the proceedings could begin.
Kejriwal, who hit an election campaign trail in Punjab yesterday, had accused the SAD-BJP government of conspiring to discredit his party by levelling false accusations.
"I want to say that I have come (to Punjab) and I will be pitching my tent here. Till the time we don't make them bite dust and send the Badals to jail, I will camp in Punjab and I am not going to leave this place. In between, however, I will go to Delhi for 2-3 days, but I will not leave from here till we send the Badals to jail," he had said.
Soon, some of the AAP MLAs entered into an argument with him and after about 20 minutes, both Gupta and Pradhan walked out of the House. However, after sometime they came back and joined the proceedings.
Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain took the opportunity to hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "He (Kejriwal) has pitched his tent in India only and not in Pakistan...Our Prime Minister does not have time for the country, as he is busy only for poll campaigns or foreign trips."
