Led by Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national executive member Sunil Sharma and ex-district president Hukum Chand, protesters raised slogans against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and MoS Home and marched to Kishtwar DC office.
"NC regime is rapidly losing ground in the state and the frustration among its leaders is evident from the fact that an environment of hatred and distrust is being created in the whole state," Sharma said.
"Police framed Shiv Krishan Sharma in a fake case on behest of political master, who are hell bent to defame nationalist people," he said.
Sharma threatened to intensify the agitation in case police did not withdraw the case against Shiv Kumar.
He was also critical of Omar, saying, "The recent statements of CM about Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and article 370 clearly indicate that NC again misleading the people and hell bent to create discord among different regions and communities."
