BJP to announce its list of candidates for J&K by Nov 1/2

Even as the electioneering has begun with the issuance of notification for the first phase of polling in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP is likely to come out with its list of candidates by November 1 or 2.
"The list of candidates for Jammu and Kashmir is expected to be released by November 1 or 2," a senior BJP leader told PTI.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be among BJP's star campaigners and will address rallies in the state during the electioneering.
The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) had yesterday issued notification for the first phase of polling in 15 constituencies. The Election Commission had on Saturday announced the schedule for polls in the flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. The polling will be held in five phases between November 23 and December 20.

Polling will take place on November 25, December 2, 9, 14 and 20. As far as the party manifesto is concern, it is in final process and will be issued soon, the senior BJP leader said.
