"The AAP has become an anti-women, anti-development and anti-common man party. Its 'aam' leaders have now become 'khaas' leaders. We condemn Somnath Bharti's behaviour towards the Ugandan woman and demand his removal," BJP state chief Vijay Goel told a press conference here.
"Two women journalists were manhandled during their dharna. This is the party which talks about women's safety," Goel said.
"The SHO and other policemen have been sent on leave without any inquiry whereas no inquiry or action has been initiated against Somnath Bharti who violated laws," he said.
Targeting Kejriwal's two-day dharna at Rail Bhavan, Goel alleged this was a step jointly taken by Congress and AAP to "dilute" the Narendra Modi effect, "which they will never be successful at".
Accusing AAP of turning away from its promises, Goel said the party had made "big promises" but none of them can be seen as being delivered.
"The party is spreading complete anarchy in the country," he charged.
BJP alleged Congress leader Ajay Maken had defended AAP yesterday and Congress continues to support them.
"The Chief Minister is returning this favour by not lodging any corruption cases against Congress ministers and the Chief Minister of the previous Congress government," he said.
