Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha president and MP Anurag Thakur said the blood collected would be used to help victims of the natural disaster in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
BJYM also launched an awareness campaign for its membership drive beginning July 6.
It claimed that over 60 thousand people donated blood and it would make a directory of donors and put their names on BJYM's website.
Addressing a public meeting at Madhopur on the border of Punjab and JK, Thakur said Mookerjee was an inspirational leader who sacrificed his life for India's integrity.
