Bodies of couple found hanging from tree in UP's Hapur

The bodies of a couple, who was missing for a week, were found hanging from a tree in a forest area of the district, police said.
The incident came to light this morning when locals at a village under Dhanaula police station area spotted the body and informed the police about it, they said.
According to police, deceased Pankaj was in love with Komal, both belonging to the same village. On April 29, Komal had gone missing under mysterious condition and her family members had approached police alleging Pankaj had abducted her at gun point.
A case was registered against Pankaj on their complaint.

Station House Officer Dhaulana police station Harsharan Sharma said the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, he said, adding probe is on.
