Body of a five-day old child found below hospital

Mystery shrounds the death of a five day old tender female child whose body was found below the window of a hospital in Dombivili township of Kalyan this morning the police said.
Police sub-inspector S S Godhe of the Dombivili police station told PTI that it was around 8.30 am when the police was informed that the child was found dead below the Subhada Hospital in the eastern part of the town.
The police rushed to the spot, took charge of the body and sent it for further examination.
According to sources, the child was flung out of the window by an unidentified person from the hospital, which is a possibility the police could probe.

As of now, the police has registered a case of accidental death, sources said.
