Narinder alias Titu (30), was washed away in flash floods caused by cloud burst at Loti Nalla near Chaba, 60 Km from here on May 10 along with four tourists from Nawan Shahar in Punjab.
The body, floating in the reservoir of Kol Dam was spotted by a river rafter near Kali Ghat temple and identified by other rafters, who retrieved the body and informed the police.
The massive search operations by police and home guards assisted by NDRF were being conducted since the incident on May 10 and one body was recovered today.
However, the bodies of four tourists from Punjab namely Saran Prit Singh, Harpreet Singh, Avanjot Singh and Amanpreet, who were also washed away along with their vehicle are yet to be traced, Thakur said.
