As a consultant, BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL) will advise UHBVN for a period of three years and help it emerge as a modern distribution entity.
The decision to appoint BRPL comes as part of efforts to modernise UHBVN, a Haryana government undertaking which supplies electricity in various northern areas of the state.
The areas where BRPL will advice UHBVN include asset management, cutting AT&C (Aggregate Technical and Commercial) losses, consumer service and performance assurance monitoring and development of an effective consumer grievances redressal system.
After undertaking site visits by senior officials and studying the existing processes, systems and network, BRPL will recommend UHBVN on ways to modernise its network and enhance its consumer interface.
