During Zero Hour, BSP members demanded discussion on the murder 30-year-old Uma Shankar Maurya, who was a witness in the killing of his brother last year.
Maurya was shot dead allegedly by two unidentified assailants on March 3.
Leader of Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya said the Chief Minister had assured Rs 5 lakh compensation for the kin of the victim but the money is yet to be handed over.
He said, after the murder of his brother last year, Uma Shankar had demanded an arms license which was denied.
The BSP members came into the Well and raised slogans.
In response, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Azam Khan said a High Court restriction allows licences to be issued only to shooters who have won medals.
He said the government would look into the matter and if there is any provision, it would be considered.
Dissatisfied with the reply, the BSP members walked out.
The BJP members however continued to raise the issue of misuse of government machinery in Council Elections.
They alleged that on the last day of nomination for Bareilly-Rampur seat, officers were sent by a helicopter with a fresh authority letter, which was a violation of the model code of conduct.
Taking a dig at BJP, he said the party suffered heavy defeat in Rampur and helicopters were not in the voters list.
Dissatisfied with the reply, the BJP members too walked out of the House.
Also, the Congress members staged a dharna in the Well demanding release of MLA Ajai Rai. When after repeated requests they did not return to bench, the House was adjourned for 10 minutes.
The dharna continued when the House reassembled. Later, the House was adjourned till Tuesday.
